Mosto forms a chevron from cut velvet leaf-like shapes, the motifs climbing the cloth in soft ranks against a textured ground. The pile gives each leaf its own shadow, so the chevron reads as a living pattern rather than a drawn one.
Woven in India from viscose, cotton and polyester at 692 grams per metre, it is a thick, generous cloth with a deep, soft handle. A rub test of 18,000 keeps it to lighter duty: cushions, headboards, upholstered panels and occasional chairs, where the pattern shows and the wear stays gentle, with the 136cm width also making substantial curtains.
