Osborne & Little | Mouflon Stripe

Mouflon Stripe lays three coloured horizontal bands of brushed alpaca across a wool ground, the raised nap of the stripes standing softly against the flatter weave beneath. It is a simple device, and the pleasure of it lies in the contrast of surfaces as much as in the colour.

Woven in France, predominantly from wool with polyamide, polyester, acrylic and alpaca, it is 132 centimetres wide and 382gsm. A rub test result of 80,000 makes it a genuinely hard-working cloth, suited to sofas and chairs in daily use, and it hangs well as a curtain where the stripe runs to advantage.
