Palas is a jacquard woven in the manner of a kelim, of which the palas is a particular type, the flat-woven geometry of the rug tradition translated into furnishing cloth.
Woven in Morocco from viscose and linen with polyamide, it is 135 centimetres wide and 95.4gsm. A rub test result of 20,000 keeps it to decorative duties: curtains and blinds first, with cushions and the occasional chair, where the kelim patterning can be enjoyed without hard daily wear.
