Osborne & Little | Pardus

Pardus takes its name from the Latin for leopard, and delivers exactly that: a faux leopard marking laid over a velvet pile, the spots softened and deepened by the nap of the cloth. Animal pattern handled this way becomes something closer to texture — wild at close range, quiet across a room.

Woven in Italy from cotton and viscose with a single synthetic yarn, it is 141 centimetres wide, with a listed weight of 77.5gsm. A rub test of 28,000 suits it to curtains, blinds and occasional upholstery — a dressing-table stool or bedroom chair rather than the family sofa.
