Pelangi Velvet revisits a classic Osborne & Little design, first produced as a silk, and renders it afresh in pile, where the pattern gains depth and the colours a soft, light-absorbing richness.
Woven in Belgium from viscose with polyester, it is 134 centimetres wide and 620gsm. A rub test result of 40,000 supports general domestic upholstery, so it sits happily on chairs and sofas in ordinary use as well as making deep, heavy curtains. The velvet's short pile keeps the drawing crisp rather than blurring it.
