Perrault is a plain textural chenille flecked with contrasting highlights, so the surface carries a quiet animation without any pattern to speak of. It is named for Claude Perrault, best known as architect of the east wing of the Louvre.
Woven in Italy from cotton and viscose with polyester, it is 140 centimetres wide and 93.9gsm. A rub test result of 35,000 sits just below the mark for hard-wearing seats, so use it on cushions, occasional chairs and headboards, or in curtains where the chenille's softness shows.
