Pisa Stretto is a simply woven cloth in which the mix of fibres does the quiet work, cotton for a dry, natural handle and polyester for stability, with the interest carried in the weave rather than in any applied pattern.
Woven in India from cotton and polyester, it is 142 centimetres wide and 199gsm. With a rub test result of 16,000 it should be treated as a decorative fabric, for curtains, blinds and cushions rather than seating, where it hangs simply and takes its place without fuss.
