Osborne & Little | Plumage

Plumage is a semi-plain with the appearance of the dense but soft feathers on a bird's chest, the surface reading as a gentle, overlapping texture rather than a drawn pattern.

Woven in India from linen and silk with acrylic, it is 137 centimetres wide and 35gsm. The silk lends a quiet lustre that shows best in folds, so curtains and blinds are its natural territory, with cushions and occasional upholstery where the feathered surface can be appreciated at close range without hard daily wear.
