Ponti is printed on a holographic surface so that the wall resembles panels of antiqued precious metals, each panel subtly distinct, the whole reading as burnished metalwork rather than paper. The antiquing matters: the shine is softened and aged, not mirror-bright.

Metallic panel effects give a room depth and a certain gravity, and they come into their own after dark, when lamplight moves across the surface. Dining rooms, cloakrooms, bars and halls suit it well, and a single wall is often enough. A printed paper, made in the United Kingdom.
