Positano is a semi-sheer basket weave with a slightly crinkled surface, so light passes through a grid of thick and thin yarns and the cloth keeps a relaxed, unpressed character.
Woven in Italy from linen and viscose with polyester, it comes at a generous 328 centimetres wide, a true double-width sheer that curtains tall windows without seams, and weighs just 36gsm. It is a cloth for the window only, for voiles, sheers and unlined curtains that filter light rather than block it.
