Pushkar Braid is a striking cotton braid embroidered with a repeating leaf scroll, then adorned with hand-sewn pompoms in two complementary colour tones. The pompoms are the character of the piece: a worked, dimensional edge that turns a flat braid into something with genuine movement.
Woven entirely from cotton and nine centimetres deep, it is generous enough to read as a decorative element in its own right. It finishes curtain leading edges, pelmets, cushions and upholstery seams, and brings a handcrafted, folkloric warmth to plain cloths. Made in India.
