Ravenna Chenille sets interlocking cubes across the cloth, a geometry taken from patterns found in Renaissance architecture, and renders them in soft pile so the rigour of the source arrives with a comfortable hand.
The weave is viscose, polyester and cotton, 60, 25 and 15 per cent, on a 137cm width at around 90gsm. A rub result of 37,000 suits it to regular domestic upholstery, chairs, stools, headboards and window seats, and the chenille surface gives curtains and cushions a dense, quiet depth.
