Rhapsody Stripe begins as a hand-block printed cross-hatch, over which a vertical running stitch is embroidered, the two crafts together producing an artisanal stripe with the small irregularities of handwork left in.
Made in India from linen with cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide and 244gsm. As a hand-finished cloth without an abrasion rating it is best used decoratively, in curtains, blinds and cushions, where the stitching sits safely and the stripe reads as texture rather than line.
