Ruhlmann builds a diamond trellis from small metallic rectangles, each facet set like an inlaid piece so the lattice reads as marquetry in light. It is named after Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, the celebrated Art Deco designer of furniture and interiors, and the pattern has that period's precision.
