Sellier is a faux leather that looks to the saddler's bench, sellier being the French word for saddler, and it has that trade's neatness about it: a smooth, even face with the character of a well-kept hide. The range runs to thirty-one colourways, eleven of them with an unusual metallic finish.
The construction is PVC over a polyester base with a polyurethane finish, on a 138cm width at around 83gsm. A rub result of 50,000 makes it a genuinely hard-working upholstery material, suited to dining chairs, benches, stools and headboards, with the practical, wipeable surface of a coated cloth.
