Sheelin is a chenille with an irregular vertical strié, the pile catching light along its soft ridges so the cloth shifts in tone as it moves. Colour does the quiet work here, no figure, no repeat to speak of, just a surface with depth.

Woven in Italy from polyester with polyamide, it is 140 centimetres wide and 72.3gsm. A rub test result of 73,000 makes it a dependable upholstery cloth for sofas and chairs in regular use, and its softness recommends it for cushions and headboards too.
