Solana Stripe is a horizontal stripe built with fancy yarns, so each band carries its own surface, some smooth, some looped or slubbed, and the stripe becomes as much about texture as line. Run a hand across it and the rhythm is as clear to the touch as to the eye.
Woven in Italy from blended man-made yarns at 560 grams per metre, it is a substantial cloth with a soft, dimensional handle. A rub test of 50,000 places it firmly in serious upholstery service, and the generous 145cm width suits curtains, loose covers and long runs of banquette seating.
