Sorrento sets distressed metallic squares on a gossamer sheer, so the cloth is barely there at all except where the squares catch the light, a glint suspended in air.
Woven in Italy from acrylic and polyester, it comes 329 centimetres wide, generous enough to dress tall glazing without seams, and weighs a feather-light 14.4gsm. It is a cloth for the window only, for voiles and sheers, where daylight animates the metallic squares by day and lamplight does the same after dark.
