Osborne & Little | Talavera

Talavera weaves a trellis of ribbons through citrus fruits and vivid hedgerow flowers, the geometry of the lattice holding the abundance in order. It is named after Talavera de la Reina in Castile, a city famed for its ceramics, and it has something of painted tin-glaze about it: an exuberant subject held in a disciplined structure.

The trellis gives the design a steady diagonal rhythm on the wall, which keeps the fruit and flowers well clear of busyness. Kitchens, garden rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms all suit it. A 150gsm paper, made in the United Kingdom.
