Taransay is a richly textured weave, its surface built from a mix of yarns that give it visible grain and a soft depth of tone. There is no pattern to speak of; the interest is all in the structure, which makes it an easy companion to bolder cloths.
Woven in Turkey from a blend led by recycled fibres at 474 grams per metre, it carries a stain-resistant finish and a rub test of 62,500, well beyond the mark for serious upholstery service. Specify it for sofas and chairs in daily use; the 140cm width also cuts economically for loose covers and curtains.
