Teffont is a hexagonal quilt-effect pattern, the cells reading as soft padded forms so the cloth looks gently upholstered before it ever reaches a chair. The geometry is distinctive but calm, texture doing the work that pattern usually does.
Woven from polyester and cotton at a substantial 708 grams per metre and made in India, it is a thick cloth with a cushioned, dimensional handle. A rub test of 40,000 reaches the threshold for serious upholstery service, suiting sofas, stools and benches in regular use, and the 140cm width also makes structured cushions and heavy curtains.
