Osborne & Little | Tegola

Tegola is an embroidered appliqué velvet of tile-shaped motifs in plum, turquoise and chartreuse, the layered pieces standing on the cloth like glazed roof tiles; tegola is the Italian word for exactly that.

Made in India from cotton and viscose with silk, it is 127 centimetres wide and 450gsm. As an appliquéd and embroidered cloth without an abrasion rating it belongs where the work will not be worn: curtains, headboards, cushions and the front of an ottoman that is looked at more than sat on.
