Terra is a two-tone chenille woven as a twill, the diagonal grain of the weave softened by the raised, brushed surface of the chenille yarn. The two tones work quietly against each other, giving the cloth a shifting, earthen depth rather than a single flat colour.
It is woven in Turkey entirely from recycled polyester, a single yarn spun from rPET, and measures 145 centimetres wide at a firm 390gsm. A rub test of 70,000 makes it a genuinely hard-wearing cloth, comfortably up to sofas and chairs in daily use as well as curtains and blinds.
