Tisbury is a flat-woven twill with a subtle marled undertone, the mixed-tone yarns giving the diagonal weave a soft, heathered depth. It reads as a refined plain with just enough surface interest to hold its own on a large piece of furniture.
Woven in China entirely from polyester at 320 grams per metre, it is a trim, workable cloth with a dry, tailored handle. A rub test of 50,000 puts it firmly within serious upholstery service, dependable on sofas, dining chairs and stools, and the generous 145cm width also cuts economically for curtains, blinds and loose covers.
