Toto works a small-scale trellis of circles and squares in cut velvet, the raised pile drawing the geometry against the flat ground so the pattern is read by touch as much as by eye.
Woven in India from viscose and cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide and 90.7gsm. A rub test result of 43,000 supports general domestic upholstery, so it suits chairs, stools and cushions in regular use, and the small repeat makes it easy to place on smaller pieces where a large pattern would fight the frame.
