Vistula is a sheer of vertical stripes with a strié effect, open-weave passages and fine surface pinstripes of captured yarns, so the panel carries three kinds of line at once. Against the light the strié softens, the open stripes brighten and the captured yarns draw a delicate thread through both.
Woven in Italy from linen and jute with a little viscose at 119 grams per metre, it is railroaded: at 332cm wide, the width forms the drop, so full-height sheers hang without seams. It belongs at tall windows and in layered treatments, where its dry natural yarns diffuse the light beautifully.
