Vivace is an irregular texture with a wavy pattern formed in bouclé, the looped yarn wandering across the cloth so no two passages repeat exactly. The movement is lively but small in scale, which means the fabric animates a surface without ever dominating it.
Woven in Turkey from a broad blend of cotton, polyester, viscose and other yarns at 550 grams per metre, it has the springy, nubbled handle bouclé brings. A rub test of 35,000 makes it dependable for domestic upholstery, sofas and chairs in ordinary family use, and the 142cm width will also cut for curtains and loose covers.
