Viviana Stripe sets velvet ikat stripes into a large chevron repeat, the softly feathered edges of the ikat lending the geometry a handwoven irregularity that keeps the pattern warm rather than strict, the pile deepening each change of direction.
Made in India from viscose and polyester, it is 136 centimetres wide and a substantial 605gsm. A rub test result of 60,000 makes it a hard-working velvet for sofas, chairs and ottomans in regular use, while the weight of the pile also carries a generous curtain.
