Adrienne is woven in France in the Pierre Frey workshops, holders of the EPV mark, and it shows. Original warp floats and a deliberately irregular fancy weft build a weave as textured as it is unusual, with a soft hand that belies its complexity. Hold it against the light and a horizontal vibration appears across the surface — the weft asserting itself. It is a cloth about construction rather than pattern, and the better for it.
