Aelys is a silk wallcovering, paper-backed and hung on a non-woven ground. Chantilly is its palest register. Pierre Frey publishes little about the design beyond its making, and it is a covering that rather makes the case for itself in the room: silk takes light differently through the day, so the wall shifts quietly rather than staying flat.
