Pierre Frey | Albane

Albane is a textile wallcovering woven from a mix of bouclé, twisted, corded and pearlescent yarns, laminated onto a non-woven backing. The variety of yarn is the point: each catches the light differently, so the wall has shadow and sheen rather than a flat colour. It is a paste-the-wall product, 137 cm wide and free match, which makes hanging quicker and keeps wastage low. As with most textile wallcoverings each drop reads as a panel, with slight variation at the joins, so order enough from one batch to finish the room. Nacre is pale and pearly; Sable is a warmer sand.
