Amboise draws inspiration from a celebrated pattern documented in the Beautiran archives, originally created through block printing at the Leclerc & fils factory during the late eighteenth century. This engaging design, featuring a delicate arrangement of flowers and ribbons arranged in stripe formation, once adorned a bed à la duchesse and exemplifies the decorative sensibilities of its era. The contemporary interpretation is realised through screen printing on a versatile métis base, honouring the historical source whilst offering practical application for modern interiors.
