Pierre Frey | Ambre

Ambre sets two textiles against each other: a crumpled cloth with a fine, broken surface and the soft sheen of velvet panne, combined in one wallcovering and laminated onto a non-woven backing. The result is a pale, quietly textured wall that changes with the light through the day, which suits bedrooms and dressing rooms where you want calm rather than pattern. It hangs by pasting the wall, is 130 cm wide with a free match, and is dry strippable, so it comes away cleanly when the time comes to redecorate. Expect a slight panel effect between drops, as with any textile wallcovering.
