Amman is a trompe-l'oeil of remarkable conviction: a wide, Berber-inspired stripe printed across the full width of a linen ground, so that the cloth appears woven when it is in fact drawn. The scale is generous and the effect warm and intense, with the slight irregularity that makes the illusion breathe. It is a print pretending to be a weave, and enjoying every minute of it.
