Anabell takes its inspiration from rustic arm weaving, and its weave keeps the memory of that gesture: a deliberate irregularity that punctuates the surface with soft, woolly nubs. The cloth is woven in France in the Pierre Frey workshops, holders of the EPV mark, and the pleasure of it is almost entirely tactile — a plain that behaves like a landscape, its texture doing the work pattern usually does.
