Anaïs sets a fleecy blend of virgin wool and alpaca against a natural linen ground, and lets the two argue gently: the animal fibres soft, lofty and warm; the linen dry, crisp and vegetal. That contrast is the whole design — a plain built from opposing temperaments rather than motifs. The result has real depth in the hand, rustic in spirit but finely judged in execution.
