Pierre Frey | Annabelle

Annabelle is a pleated wallcovering: a matt, linen-rich textile folded into regular, narrow ribs and laminated onto a non-woven backing, so the wall carries a fine vertical stripe made entirely of shadow. It is at its best under raking light, from a window to one side or wall lights above, where the pleats read most clearly. At 125 cm wide with a free match it hangs by pasting the wall and is dry strippable. Its lightfastness is rated moderate, so avoid walls that take direct sun for long periods, and expect a slight panel effect at the joins.
