Pierre Frey | Arlequin Multicolore

Arlequin Multicolore takes the lozenge motif popularised by the Commedia dell'arte — Harlequin's own livery — and runs it as a multicoloured striped variation. The theatrical source gives the geometry its wit: these are diamonds with a costume history, worn lightly. It is a cheerful, confident cloth, at ease in rooms that do not take themselves entirely seriously.
