Pierre Frey | Arty – Multicolore

Arty began with a gallery in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, an artist, and love at first sight. Marie-Cécile Aptel favours large formats — shapes drawn with brush or pastels, the underlying canvas showing through in places — and the house chose to adapt one of her works as a wallpaper. The vinyl backing is no compromise: it was selected to emphasise the texture of the canvas, keeping the studio's surface present on the wall. The design also exists as a fabric, under reference F2977.
