Atelier Jean reproduces, identically, the drawings Jean Buffile made in the 1950s to decorate his ceramic collections — birds, fish, silhouettes and geometric combinations, taken from the layers and preliminary sketches the Atelier Buffile has kept ever since. One version refers to the monochrome images obtained artisanally through the original photographic process of the cyanotype. It is a potter's working archive, transferred with its energy uncorrected onto the wall.
