Ayo Précieux works at XXL scale: a geometric design on linen, hand-drawn and then embroidered in an iridescent chain stitch. Each tile of the grid reveals a different sketch — circles, squares or stripes — like pages from the artist's notebook laid side by side. The iridescence of the thread is what earns the name: the geometry shimmers as light crosses it, studious in structure, precious in surface.
