Beatrice is a fabric of breathtaking volume and delicate feel: loops of wool, mohair and alpaca rise from the cloth, giving it a softness the house rightly calls prized. The three fibres each contribute — wool for body, mohair for loft, alpaca for that particular dry silkiness — and the looped construction turns them into a surface with real depth.
