Designed by Christian Haas, Bellport draws inspiration from the understated refinement of Long Island's quieter villages, where generous hospitality shapes everyday life. This sofa prioritises comfort without pretension, its proportions expansive and inviting. The continuous backrest and generously scaled armrests envelop the body in a composed silhouette, whilst down-filled cushions offer a supple, responsive quality that moves fluidly with the sitter. Across its broad surfaces, fabric takes centre stage, its texture and depth fully revealed. The solid wood base grounds the design, offering the flexibility to either disappear into the upholstery or assert itself through lacquered finishes, allowing considered compositional choice.
