Bjorn is an elegant floral printed on cretonne, recalling the delicacy of old Scandinavian fabrics. It adapts a woodblock-printed cotton from the second half of the eighteenth century, probably used in fashion at the time and preserved in the Maison's archives. The dressmaking origin shows in the drawing's lightness — a pattern made to move — and the cretonne gives it the crisp, honest body furnishing demands.
