Pierre Frey | Bolchoi – Multicolore

Bolchoi is a happy accident adopted as policy. The first picture strip — a trial woven with different warp and weft threads in the Pierre Frey workshops in the north of France — naturally produced this set of multicoloured stripes, and the studio liked the result so much it published it exactly as it was. The Russian atmosphere of the name suits its theatrical liveliness. Sometimes, as the house says, a trial run turns into a masterstroke.
