Isabelle de Borchgrave draws inspiration from the mashrabiya, that architectural lattice which filters light and creates a dialogue between private and public realms. Casa translates this poetic interplay into a substantial cotton jacquard, conceived as both a tactile experience and a visual statement. The fabric's double-sided construction presents two complementary interpretations of the same motif—positive and negative readings of geometric form—allowing considerable flexibility in interior application. Woven with characteristic French craftsmanship in Pierre Frey's northern workshops, Casa brings the designer's fascination with cultural exchange and intricate detail to furnishings of genuine substance and refinement.
