A floral built on the logic of lace, taken from a document inspired by the Indies and held in the Maison's archives. Originally printed, it is reinterpreted here as a damask on a silk warp and cotton weft — the lustre of the weave and the contrast of the two fibres do quietly what the printed version had to state.
