Coendou runs irregular, contemporary stripes across the floor, their unevenness evoking multiple forms of craftsmanship — bands that read as if woven, dyed or pieced by different hands. It is woven in Axminster, a construction that gives the free-spirited drawing real durability, and is available in two colourways. The design's looseness is entirely deliberate: rigour underneath, improvisation on top.
