Comporta is a high-performance outdoor chenille with a chiné effect, the yarn shaded so the surface never sits entirely flat. It combines strength with flexibility, which is why it works for both seating and curtains — outdoor cloth is usually too rigid for one or too light for the other. It is woven in Pierre Frey's EPV workshops in the north of France, stain and water repellent, and light resistant.
