Daïkiri is an embroidery after a work by Noémie de Yturbe, a lively picture conceived as an ode to vitality and the pleasure of encounters. Look closely and the words 'rêve', 'free' and 'life' surface like mottoes, worked in finely brushed beads set into the embroidered shapes. It is exuberant needlework with a message, made to be read at close range as much as admired from across the room.
